Wanted to know what fluid is used to fill this part. I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution 5spd.

ATF SP III is the fluid used for the ACD

 

Also will this fluid being low cause me to not be able to shift gears? Clutch was really soft and easily pushed in and couldnt **** when car was on but when off it shifts perfectly normal and smooth, no grinding.

Sounds like your problem might be more than just low tranny fluid.

 

Nope unrelated. Sounds like you have a clutch related issue to me

 

Hey NY Evo did you ever find out what made the gears so hard to shift when the car was on

 

Yeh, Slave cylinder seal was damaged pretty bad so there was no pressure. Changed it, bled the clutch line and it was good as new.
