Can anyone give me the specs on a Lancer Evo 3?

I found a Lancer Evo 3 for sale for a really good price and I want to know the specs and such. Also would I have to convert it to drive in America? It's in the U.K. if that makes a difference.

Start with The Ultimate Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Buyers Guide from The Lancer Registry, which is basically the UK version of our Evolutionm.net website. Lot's of great resources for non-USDM Evo's. The buyers guide is a bit slow to load, but it's really worth it.

You will not be able to import and federalize any Evo from abroad and expect to drive it on the streets of the US.

If the seller is not telling the truth, did you report the auction to Ebay authorities?

Well its pretty obvious that it isn't an evo3.
But it is an evo1.

Are you sure that's an Evo 1? Cause I'm all about about Evo's no matter what year... I love .

From what I can tell its an evo1.
Evo2's use the same front bumper as the evo1 but have a small black lip on the bottom (this has none).
It also has evo1 wheels.
Evo2's use the same rear spoiler as an evo1 but have a base that runs along the whole back of the boot which the spoiler sits on, this doesn't as the spoiler sits on the boot itself.
Also the sticker down the side and back of the car says GSR Evolution not Evolution II or III .

Are you sure? It's listed as a 1994. I thought Evo 1's were only sold in 1992 and into 1993.

True evo1 were made in 1993, but he did also call the car an evo3 so i'm putting it down to someone who doesn't know what he's selling.

Yeh it might help a bit.
If he can also tell you the chassis code aswell (well first 4 digits).
CD9A = evo1 and 2
CE9A = evo3
But to me it does look like an evo1.

Are you trying to out the guy? If not, then why bother him with questions if you are in no position to bid on the car?
