Ok so I was having misfire after installing a new mad adapter and filter on my intake. Took the maf adapter and filter off put back on the maf adapter plate I was using before the issue. Pulled the code it was p0234. So basically I was hitting boost cut. I checked vacuum lines from the boost controller everything was good. So next I went to check the wastegate. So I turned the boost all the way down and went and did a pull. Held 20 psi no issues. So I was like cool and started slowly turning the boost controller back up and doing runs trying to get it back to 30. After i got to about 28 i did 2 more turns and hit boost cut. Got out of the car to turn it down and seen coolant shooting out of my head. So pissed. So now gotta get the head fixed and im gonna go ahead and get my quartermaster clutch installed and creep this pos to my tuner. Only thing we can think of right now is maybe the boost controller failed.

an easier way to check the wastegate would have been to ran a line from the compressor nipple to the wastegate. wouldn't have had to adjust your mbc and had to risk overboosting.

Completely off your topic, but just saw you title of a blown head gasket and funny **** is today my girls car blew a head gasket on the way to my sis baby shower and now she's got to drive my daily car and I have to add some miles on my Evo but I just sold my catback exhaust so I can buy a hks carbon ti so now I'm in a hurry to buy the exhaust lol fml !
Wait, wait, wait you were hitting boost cut and you were still trying to get more boost ? Well no wonder! Your lucky you didnt blew the **** out of it. You're running out of fuel.
im not running out of fuel. I'm running a double pumper and 1450s e85. I have plenty of fuel. I turned the boost all the way down..i was just turning it back up to the original boost I was running. I thought I explained that pretty well in the original post.
