Ok, it's early and I haven't had my coffee yet but if you are using a MBC, why are you getting an overboost code? Have you checked your MAP sensor? are you still using the stock map sensor? Also, what are you tuned on, Tephra, stock?

that's a very good question. Yes im using tephra. The issue at first I thought it was plugs before I checked the code. Then I thought it was the wastegate. After I turned the boost all the way down and it held 20 I knew it wasn't the wastefate. The only thing I can think of is the boost controller failed.

the fuel and injectors are completely irrelevant. Its a boost issue.

Anyone have a clue...again the code is a boost issue not a fuel issue.

Okay let me go back, I didnt know if you were stock or not and boosting 28 to 30psi. So I assumed that you were trying to boost what I just mentioned and you had boost/fuel cut. If you went back to 20psi and the car ran fine, then you up it to 28psi and the problem came back. What does that tell you ? Read this thread

<p>it tells me that something is wrong considering when I was tuned I was spiking 33 psi. I didn't really get a chance to adjust it anymore because somehow the headgasket blew. Just a freak situation. My boost cut is set at 37psi so two turns with the boost controller after hitting 28 psi should not have caused possibly a 40 psi spike.</p> I read it...im gonna try and get it down to my tuner whenever i get the headgasket fixed. I'll post the updates of what the issue is.

Okay! you spike 33psi and hold 28psi right? After 2 clicks on the mbc it spiked 40psi. The problem relies on the mbc(possibly a hose)or wastegate.
