I'll start it off. I did the rear differential on my Evo 9 MR, labor was expensive, and I really wish I had swapped out the mustache bar with an aftermarket one to lighten my car by 15 pounds while I was at it!

I hope this thread can prevent people from making similar mistakes and do things more efficiently with their Evos while their cars are in the shop.

 

I wish I would have had my t-case built when I had to rebuild the trans. Funds were non existent and it was horrible timing as I had to do the clutch at the same time. So crappy now that I have a good amount of funds to build it now. Not going to make the same mistake twice, im doing my t-belt soon and figure since the belts off might as well stuff some cams in there.

 

Same here, although i just let my car sit now unit ive saved up for what i need while im doing it.
Ill either take the UGH train, or walk... Either way less miles on my evo lol.

 

Wish I put a BR 2.3 instead of another stock block when my old one blew

 

have a exedy stage 1 sports organic clutch.. wish i went with a twin plate. also wish i changed engine mounts while the clutch job was getting done ~
