Shaking engine?

Cold start up engine shakes, is this normal...at al?

If its excessive shaking, Sounds like worn out Motor Mounts. It is normal for the engine to produce more vibrations upon cold start.

Your engine should never be rocking on it's mounts at idle. Just a slight vibration.

Ahh I was I could disinguish the differencr between a shake or vibration lol, hard to tell over internet what im tryin to describe.

the difference is this:

-if it feels like it's running rougher then it's probably the emissions stuff warming up the engine

- if it feels like something is broken, then it might be

Does the whole motor physically shake or can u just feel it in the cabin ....and is it only when it's cold

The motor physically shakes. Yes only when really cold

How cold. It can take a minute for the car to warm up in cold weather. That's normal
Abnormal things could be spark plugs or maybe dirty throttle body?

my engine shakes too, but i have cams. i installed a front Motor mount, helped a bit but now the whole car vibs a bit lol .. the other mounts look okay and no excessive shaking around the mounts specifically.... so i just left it as it is

I have gsc s2 cams aswell

Yup that's the problem. I have some s2's also and with a cold start the car will shake my gooch numb
