Need to replace hood

Ok so my issue is I've been looking for an oem hood for quite some time to no avail, so what's the best hood on the market to purchase? I'd rather have the oem hood but if I must buy a CF one I will. Any advise on this problem?

Yeah see I was looking for something a bit cheaper haha. My hood is a CF one that's junk and doesn't even close. It came with the car so I'm trying to source oem body parts.

That's the reason I don't want a CF hood because I've had bad experiences with them not fitting properly.

Hit or miss on CF aftermarket hoods. Vis or Seibon. I have a Vis and fits perfectly.

Someone here is selling the RalliArt CF hood. It's as OEM as you could get. :}

I can tell you from personal experience going from a carbon fiber hood to stock will cost over a grand. It was way worth it though for fitment and look IMO. http://oemmitsubishiparts.com/parts/...iagram=6265060 cheapest place to buy new. Good luck!

i say you shop around the forums and see if anyone is selling a used hood. even if it needs to be repainted, i think it will still be cheaper than buying brand new from mitsu.

a few of my friends have VIS carbon fiber hoods and they look pretty good and fit well enough. what i mean by "well enough" is that the fitment isn't perfect; some of the lines don't line up perfectly, but you can't tell unless you are specifically looking for fitment issues.

if you are interested, i have a TB stock hood lying around that i was thinking about selling. shipping is going to be a pain though
