I bought my hood from a member as well. As long as they wrap it up with bubble wrap and use cardboard on all corners, it ships well. My hood cost $65 through greyhound shipping and went about 1000 miles. Hope this helped.

 

My OEM hood keeps getting chips and small dents from the gravel the snow removal crews put down. Would a CF just crack from the pea size gravel?
