Mobil1 Full Syn [5w-30] $25 from wallyland

Good day,

I recently purchased oil from AutoZone thinking that I was getting a great price. I just went to wallyland to purchase misc crap for the house and while walking the aisles....

BAM

$24.99 for 5quart big jug

I just wanted to make sure everyone gets the best price. Please feel free to chime in if you found it somewhere else.

Oil filter etc - I normally purchase from mitsubishiparts.net in bulk [enough for 4 oil changes to cover the year]

I always go to wally world for the oil but I go to Oreilly's for the Wix or Bosch filter.

This is what I do too. Castrol Edge was always $21 for the 5 qt jug compared to $30 everywhere else.

Not sure if you engine is built or if your running a JB Red or Black. But other than those scenarios. Your motor and turbo don't give a ****

That said I use M1 HM currently w/ FRAM X2 filters ( No not the crap orange one) syn filter media FTW

ef4 and stock block, but every motor stock or not can benefit from a high zinc and phosphorus content oil, wear protection and film strength.

Just saying that I disagree, any modern factory gasoline engine has no need for those high doses of ZDDP. Never has anyone been able to show a factory modern gas engine suffer added scoring or premature bearing wear due to not using an oil with these high ZDDP doses.

Each their own though. MI HM I think has 1000/1000 IIRC.

Off Topic: EF4 is top of the list for my next snail. Love the results I've seen

To each his own

Yes the EF4 is great, or so I hear, I just bought mine, both sides ported and thermally coated, flows about 2lbs/min more than an fp black, how can that not be win? lol
