battery dying, need help!

hi, when ever i park my evo without starting for 2 days, the battery dies and the car wont even crank! at first i though maybe the battery is weak, i put in a brand new one, same thing after 2 days...then one day when i shut down the car noticed, one of the defi gauge's was on even after i shut off the car took out the keys, maybe thats eating the power of the battery, now how do i fix it?

why is the gauge still on after the car is shut off?

this thing is such a PITA, every time i have to start the car i have to use jump cables and start it with other cars.

Wired wrong is my guess.
Maybe the battery wire is going to the 12v? And vice versa.

Sort out your gauge issue, charge your battery, and investigate from there.

This is undoubtedly a wiring issue though... how/where do you have it wired?
