I would buy a set of VII tails yesterday! In the mean time I may make a set to hold me over until this goes through...

 

Yeah I did my own, they came out fine I guess, but it's not the same. I prefer to keep the DIY stuff for under the hood rather than the exterior.

I wanted a base model Lancer look and I guess I got it, kinda bored with it now though. Plus I'm awful at crafts so there's some paint drips and imperfections.

 

+1. I did my own jdm tails and they only looked good for a couple months, then went to **** and wet sanding the stuff off gave me stress cracks. All around it was a dumb idea.

Yeah but do you have a proper reverse light in the correct place? I could go for round 2 and apply the stripes and clear, but the whole thing is just kinda wonky. Anything is better than VIIIs though.

 

Thats the only thing left out is the reverse light. But I didnt want to cut the tails apart. I did that for a set I did to look like jdm 8s and its a pita lol. I still have a reverse light, its just red lol

 

I need some Jdm headlights :/ I got 7 tails. But just don't want to spent 1k in headlights **** be cray cray

 

Yea, the headlights are insane. When I saw the price they were going for, I instantly sold my jdm heads and tails lol. Got 500 for the tails and then a set of mint evo 9 headlights and $650 for my headlights. $$$$ haha

 

I'd definitely buy depo headlights if they ever gna make em for evos. Had a very good experience with their products.

ALL FOR IT! OEM is great and baller status. If I can get depot replicas that do EXACTLY the same thing, no imperfections or simple fix imperfections, 1/4 the cost then I wouldn't worry about it!

 

I think this is a good idea, but then EVERYONE will have them. I kinda like the rarity of the true JDM ones, it makes having them a little more unique.
