Marylands fastest Evo?

I'm heading to the track soon and curious what's the fastest Evo outta Maryland.
2 questions.

1) what's the fastest Evo outta Maryland

2) what's the fastest 2.3l Evo outta Maryland

I just got tuned and made 765/595 on a 2.3 and I'm going to try and hit 9s. Was just curious and trying to find what's the times in Maryland evos. I've seen videos of people saying "first 9sec Texas built Evo" how do people know this? Cause I've ye to see or know any 9 sec evos outta Maryland. But I believe there out there, I'm more Intrestrd in what's the fastest 2.3l outta Maryland.

Thanks
Kevin

Honestly no idea. I don't see all that many Evo's around, and my car is a different type of fast (turns). Good luck on your 9s pass though!

Last time i was at cecil there was a evo trapping 150mph there.

not sure what the fastest/quickest 2.3L evo there runs. my car was a 2.3L but it was only on a fp black.

Nice, never realized you were in PA. I'll be running TT at Pocono Raceway later this year. One of my good buddies just got into road racing and lives like 15 min from there.

Is your car geared properly for a 9 second pass? Can your 2.3 rev high enough in 4th to get the mph? Most cant

More to a 9 second pass then making a bunch of horsepower

There is no way to know unless you had a list of every evo from the state. Why does it matter anyways?

You would not be the first 9 second Evo in Md. Good luck with your goals, seems you defiantly have the power to do it . Are you planning on making some passes at Cecil?

are you on the stock gearing ? and whats the car weigh? we pretty much have the same setups you will need a 67mm and a 2.0 if you wanna have the fastest evo in md.

Yea I bought alot of parts off him. Was just with him Sunday.

Yea it's stock gearing. I understand 2.0 are better sutable for drag racing due to longer rpm range and 4th gear in 9 sec pass is right at 8k (my rev limit)

As far as weight cars stripped for most part, have a aluminuim exhaust, nothing in the rear no Ac , abs brakes, no back seats, on lightweight fd wheels with Hoosiers, no windshield wipers front and rear. Etc. does have a half cage which weighs a little bit though

I'm sure that's not the only way to be the fastest Evo in Maryland.
