My easter gift lol

I was cruising with my friends sti and blew my licp on the highway, my cars been blowing the throttle body hose off since i bought it fixed that and now this no big deal car threw a p0121 code and we took care of it just thought id share

Got em the problem is using the oem coupler for ets licp it barely grabs and its getting old

yeah i have the same licp but flat black color. i used the oem coupler too, then tightened the **** out of it no problems so far. hey the silicon hose coupler kit from lancershop.com is for all the couplers i believe.

Clean the mating area of the pipe with break cleaner, then use some steel wool and scuff the mating area of the pipe, then right before you mate them together spray the pipe with hairspray then tighten the t bolt clamp. It won't come off again

This plagued me for a while. Nothing like your engine playing putput on the highway. I got my couplers at extremepsi.com. T-bolts ftw.

licp > fmic is the worst. I don't mind when it's the TB coupler that blows off but that one in particular is somewhat a hassle.

I always carry a 10mm and zip-ties in my car like the guy told me when i bought the car. But for some reason i had the short 10mm instead of the usually long socket. Thank god my friend had a little kit and managed to get a 3/8 to tighten it to limp it to his shop

When it came off i was running really rich and bogging and i got an alcohol smell, anyone know where that smell comes from?
