I found a set of these tailights for $90. Right now I've got the stock evo 8 tails, and the edges are fading a little bit, and they look like they've been out in the sun too long. Any opinions on how this would look? I've also got a black plasti dipped trunk, wheels, door handles, and fuel door. I like the black jdm style better, but it's pretty hard to turn down a set of good looking tails for only $90

 

Those are the stock 8 tails.

 

The stock evo 8 tailights are silver. There is no difference between evo 8 MR and evo 8 GSR tailights.

 

Well I feel like an idiot hahaha. I must have evo 8 tails painted red. Either way, my tails are dull and essentially looking like crap. Does anyone have a picture of the stock evo 8 tails on a white evo?

I don't know which lights you have, but it's worth noting that the Evo 7 tail lights are red.

 

evo 7 lights. note the clear reverse light, red housings, and red tinted lenses

 

if you have a usdm rear stick with oem evo 9 tails, if you have a jdm rear go with evo 8 or 9 JDM tails
but the evo 7 lights look amazing with both rears
