Hello. Have an evo 8 with a new pc680 battery, old one died so I needed to replace it. I am having problems starting, about 50% the car starts and the other I just hear a click and the engine does not turn. The battery registers 12v after that. I am thinking of just getting a regular big battery because this one might not be providing enough juice. Do I have an electrical problem or is it the battery?

 

It could just be the battery. Make sure you're getting 12v going to the starter while your cranking. Hook up a positive lead to the 13mm bolt from the starter and see if you're getting good numbers.

 

Ended up being the starter, replaced it and its perfect. Thanks
