PCV Valve Replacement Parts
So I am prepping my IX for a tune next month, and at 46k miles, and no knowing if the PCV valve has ever been changed, I thought it best to just swap a new one in. However, I am unable to find a "how-to", and when looking online the following parts come up:
1. PCV Valve
2. PCV Grommet
3. PCV Gasket
4. PCV Hose
Which parts are actually necessary, and does swapping this $20 valve really require $60-70 worth of parts?
Thanks!

Remove the PCV valve. Wipe off the dirt and try to blow through it in both directions. If you can blow freely in one direction and it seals in the other direction the valve is okay. Reinstall. Cost = zero.

Thanks. I got that part. I guess what I was asking is that if I need to replace it, can I just replace the valve, or do I need all these extra parts (gasket, grommet, hose).
