Question Not boosting correctly wtf!!!

Hey guys, finally installed my boost gauge, and did a leak test and like most 4g63s of course the throttle body leaks but thats it, I've had this problem in all my talons and eclipses but not like this, even though it pisses air a lil, I know I'm loosing boost but shouldn't be this much, in fact it won't go past 5psi, I mean I can give gas and climb rpms but it will stop on a dime aka max out at 5psi won't even think about spiking or creeping to 6psi, it maxes out and stops on a dime at 5psi, almost as if i had it set with an aftermarket boost controller get what i mean?what do you guys think? Stock boost controller shot, should I get and upgraded one, anyone ever have this problem? My last Evo pulled way harder wih 14psi, lol I just want my boost!!! Help guys!! Thanx

Sounds like you need to replace that factory boost controller.
Get yourself a Hallman. They are great.

Get rid of the boost controller and boostleak test your car and seal the leaks
