Evo 5 Front lower arms

i recently bought a recon good pair of front lower arms for my evo V. but after i took it to the garage, he said its from a ver 4. shall i install it or will i get any issues by puting evo 4 lower arm set on my evo 5? need help urgently.

This may be something for the guys at lancer register.

If I had to guess though, I'd say they're different because the Evo 4 was narrow body, and the Evo 5 was widebody.

You could always pop under your car and do a comparison though?

It's pretty easy to tell.

Evo4 = steel arms
Evo5 = aluminium arms

So if they are indeed evo4 arms then I wouldn't install them.

the reason i bought LRs because few bushes were worn out in the current pair., will it affect the handling & any downsides of replacing with evo 4 ones?

Err i doubt it will fit since the track is not the same??
