Evo stolen!!!!
Hope your friend finds his car. I was devastated about my lip. I could never imagine having my car stolen.
I'm still shocked at this. I can't believe people are out here stealing Evo's. That's one of the reasons why I sold my Civic (cough), to get away from thieves smh All I have to say is Karma...... it's real.
Layer it like i did is a good idea, like i did well i did massive OVERKILL. Dual alarms one SUPER hidden and impossible to get to and the other out and in the open, 2 SIRENS one SUPER LOUD one inside the car with a back up small battery. A removable steering wheel with Lock [NRG] a Revelco and a Fuel pump Switch. All protected in my garage [adt secutity system] [Also Home video survallience, With Wifi to my phone] or in my yard with a 6ft high Rought iron fence with a Boron Master lock That is WELDED to the chain so you cant get cutters in it to cut it cause its so close, the chain is a 3/4 Anchor chain, No cutting that. And if you manange to get past that, Now you have me cause my phone and keychain just went off telling me your ****ing with me car and a 12 Gauge 18.5 inch barrel with 1 round of rock salt and 4 deer slugs in it pointed at your face, with a shoot first ask question later mentality.
The lock Has "GOOD LUCK" inscibed on it lol.
Aint nobody ****ing with my ****, I also Conceal and carry im done playing in chicago, ive had it with thieves and im even temped to leave it out and about without security, just to test the rock salt out.

Thanks yea he's really mad devastated he put alot hard work and money into it , it was his baby ; than some spineless lazy douchebags just take it ; they prob never earned an honest cent in their life and weren't raised right ; I believe what u put out in the universe u get back so those ****** will have nothing but negative **** happen to them for generations
I hope someone catcches them in the act and shoots their dickks off before curb stomping them and then gutting them. Then use all of these stolen evos threads as a defense so the jury can see they got what they deserved.
Am I missing something here? Our Evo's have an immobilizer built in so that the car will not start unless the key is put into the ignition. Are all of you disabling the immobilizer or something? You can't just "hotwire" an Evo. I live in Chicago and about 4 years ago someone tried stealing my IX. They tore the crap out of the steering column and the wiring harnesses and everything and got NOWHERE due to the immobilizer. Is there some trick to get around this security feature that I am unaware of?

They had there own ECU and by passed the immobilzer.
IF not for the alarm i put on, ONLY thanks to the members here after my introduction Warning me my evo would have been gone, Since then i have went to EXTREME measures to insure the safty of my evo.
Your in chicago, its Thunderdome up in here.
You must have an alarm, or keep it in the garage. Id absolutly never park mine on the streets. [plus im a scofflaw too,$100 sticker PFFT]Im in a decent area too.
Im ready to move out of this hole of a city, and the theivery is just the tip.

Damn, sorry to hear that that happened to you. I've had to deal with some thieves myself in the past with my old car. It almost was broken into twice in my driveway. One of the times was during the middle of the day. I also had some BBS RS wheels on it the were stolen when I was in a store doing errands with my girlfriend. It was a sad moment.
Another Silver one was stolen last week in Orlando. 04awdturboevo is his screen name.
2003 Silver Evo with SSL. Not sure if he posted it elsewhere.
If I see those fockers around my home, there will be hell to pay.
