I want to get one of these.Which kit works the best and does it come with its own tray? Do they just bolt up? No other conversions necessary....

 

I got the ETS mini battery kit, came with the battery, tray and bolts. Mine bolted right up just took the old battery and tray out, was really simple.

If you live in cold climates, get the JMFabrication kit, with the PC925 battery.

 

The Buschur kit just bolts right in and works great

 

I hate to bash the other vendors.. but speaking from someone who has plenty of experience with small battery kits.. The one listed above.. JMFabrication kit with the PC925 battery is the only battery you should even consider.

Regardless of cold weather or not.. The small battery kits offered elsewhere are just not ideal for any daily driving needs.. They die out very fast.. If you don't drive the car in 3 or 4 days.. expect to have a charger.. However with the PC925 battery.. it is an entirely different story.. I had my car stored all winter and it fired right up.

Hope you don't make the mistake of buying any other small battery kit.

 

Thanks for all the advice,SA has a warm climate but I do not daily drive my car.It's only a weekend toy.
