You almost need to have someone watch it on a scanner to see if your crank sensor is dropping out. However it could be many things causing this. A big vacuum leak can cause similar situations to. Start with all the basics.

^Start with basics as suggested. CHeck for vacuum and boost leaks. Check MAF sensor for damage and plug connection. Are you on MAF and venting bov to atmosphere? Also check idle control valve.

If you are running the factory maf, then you need to recirculate the bov, running it to atmosphere can cause these issues.

What are your mods? What type of BOV?

If your BOV can't recirculate you could always go Speed Density.

My evo 5, now has 8 motor was stalling, mainly as revs dropped off. We found problem was BOV was sticking open. Relaced BOV and problem gone

Yeah I think it might be the bov I just recirculated it an it seemed to be fine until the car warmed up an then it started doing it. It seemed like the bov wasn't closing cuz I couldn't really hear it go off ??
