Mitsubishiparts.net was selling them a few months ago for 4600-4800 plus 500 dollar shipping. That was only IX longblock/turbo/manifolds etc. I almost pulled the trigger but was already building my engine.

When will this deal come around again? almost tempted to order one more. I plan on keeping this car forever.

I have placed my order, awaiting to get confirmation of shipping from Japan to the dealership I wouldn't plan on this being available down the road, this may be their last batch of IX crate engines.

 

It took roughly 10 months for mine to arrive.

As for whether Mitsubishi will offer them again, I would place my bets on that they will. They've offered these almost annually for awhile now and every time they say it's the last batch. As it is though, it's not like they are losing money making these. May have to wait until the fall to order like they did this past batch though. Either way, I guess we'll find out eventually, won't we?
