05 LY SSL here, and yes as EVONOT stated, this combo is next to impossible to find.

 

I believe this is true because I don't see many evos like I do other cars and I only remember seeing maybe 2 of these. First time I saw one I thought it was custom painted.

 

I've only seen two ever. And for all I know it could of been the same one since it was roughly the same area. I always thought it was a rare color.

 

I've never seen a lighting yellow, then again I am in Canada so coming across an evo itself is rare lol. But never seen a yellow so to me they'r rare, most common is red and silver then white then grey then black then blue...where I come from anyway lol

 

Lightning yellow was released only in 03' and 05' so it's pretty rare - haven't seen many of them, definitely an EYE CATCHER!

Wrong. It was available on all model years of the VIII. It's rare, but it's not very popular or desirable for many, and therefore price tends to take a hit on the yellow Evos.

 

I've rarely ever seen a yellow 8, they are pretty rare, but as mentioned not very desirable even though I honestly Like them.

 

I see a lightning yellow one every day in the garage next to my WW Evo X. It's turbotaxi so the garage houses a couple STM Evo's hah
