So what exactly do I need to increase my boost past stock?

Omg seriously its not hard to google stuff there are so many ways to increase boost, mbc, ebc, pill trick why would you give someone advice when you dont know the reason. It could be a track car, dd, weekend. Search first then specify your question... Not being a so called douche but im not giving someone wrong advice if i dont know the reason

well thanks tom for actually being constructive to the thread. to everyone else: did you just decide to take a wrench one day and smack some parts around in your engine compartment with no prior knowledge hoping your car would improve in performance? yes I have seen those evo tuning intro threads before, but I was still unclear on what i needed because it seemed like the threads didn't really specify exactly what I needed, and being new to the modding community I had no idea where to start. Thanks for the warm welcome.

tl;dr: everyone in this thread besides tom should wrap their car around a tree.

Why scare off fellow evo owners by establishing the persona of self-righteous bastards.

Does it really effect you that badly that a new guy posted something that may be easily answered in our minds? Does one more post really clutter this thread that bad. <--doubtful

Didnt mean to be harsh, I guess I should have lightened up it really came from all the other evo owners when I was tuning my 02 lancer turbo es, oh gawd I got alot of rep for that. But anyways decide where you want to go woth your car because you want to tune the car before raising boost on a stock vehicle.

Long story short when i got bashed on I researched alpt of threads based on what I wanted to do. And when I found most of the information I needed I wrote it down and when i heard different rumors of better parts based off a goal i asked the community this is what i researched this is what I found different that might be better what do you prefer
