hey guys i have an ac question for you. why wont my compressor kick on lol

quick background. bought the car, the ac didnt work. took it to a shop and they found out the power wire was broken. so they fixed it and the ac worked great. i then changed the head gasket for an unrelated issue and reflashed the ecu to tephramod v7 96530706 and now my compressor wont kick on. the ac light is green and the condenser fan kicks on but the compressor wont. i tried the tapping it trick and it didnt do anything. i checked the power wire and it was fine but when i checked voltage i wasnt getting any to that wire. i switched around a bunch of relays and that didnt do anything either. im stuck now and not sure what to do next. i didnt try the ac after i got the car back together and i am not sure what i did with my stock map. i downloaded another factory map but that didnt solve the problem. should i try sending 12v to that plug with a wire from the battery or is there something else i should try first? like i said, ac worked great before i pulled the head off. are there any connectors i may have forgotten to plug back in during the head gasket procedure? i appreciate any help that you guys can give me.
