EVO's with CB Radio's?
^LOL... Never heard of anyone putting a CB radio in an Evo... in fact in never crossed my mind to think of putting one in an Evo. I had buddies in college that had them in there trucks though.
I have a handheld CB and magnetic external antenna that I use when I take long trips... For me it's a safety thing (cell phones are not coast to coast), but I also turn it on when my Sirius Radio has looped Howard Stern for the 3rd time in the day, and I need to keep on moving. You hear some INTERESTING people saying INTERESTING THINGS on CB at 2am in west Texas.
I also use it when I am doing car rallys with groups. The lead car, the trail car, and at least 1-2 in the middle of the pack use them. It's great to keep everyone on the same path when there are 30-40 cars all together.

The manual also says explicitly not to use aftermarket parts or to modify the vehicle.
However, the manual also has oil change intervals for when the car's used for towing.

I use it for keeping up with traffic and where the cops are, also it can be fun just to listen to the crazy truckers. Plus me and my buddy use em to talk to each other when we are out and about. Its easier than a cell phone.
