the WORST case scenereo is that they will replace the quarter panel, but that looks like something that can be hammered out, and filled smooth.

Dont worry itll be okay!
That dent can be repaired.
Sorry that this happened to you.
I got hit on my passenger door by a student and her excuse was that she just finished a midterm and therefore wasnt her fault.
Later found out her license was expired

Being on the corner, some Paintless dent guys may not want to tackle it, but I personally think that you can paintless dent remove that.

Yes, from what I've been told its hard to get out edges, but the edge of the panel actually looks ok. I can't tell if the metal is creased, if its creased, its harder to get out too, a lot of times the paint splits. I would definitely visit one of those places and get it checked out to see if they think they can pdr it or not.

PDR professional here... A good pdr guy can fix that no problem...just make sure they are reputable. Otherwise you will have to paint the quarter panel to fix his screw up. That should cost about 120 ish and improve 90% over what is there. If you can't find a really good dent tech... just have it painted and put your money into ONE repair, not two different ones.

I had one like this and got it out my self with some PDR.I didnt felt that guilty cause the car came that way but in the area where the dent is located isnt hard to get out either and you can access the inside of the quarter panel from inside the trunk so it made it super easy.Just see a professional PDR and he will take care of it.
