Me too 9 months, although i was very specific on wanting to get a low-mileage, bone stock Evo 9 in WW. That was a hard search, but when it finally came up for sale in the Chicagoland market, I was both ready with the finance and snapped it quick before rival offers from Colorado and Arizona.

Worth the wait, especially if you're certain about what you want in the craft. You'll know it when you see the one you're ready to buy at the price you're willing to put down. All the best

I wasn't looking to buy a car and I found my 05 Evo with SSL package and 60k miles for 17k at a dealership. Went to drive it and saw the mods it had and bought it on the spot.

Since I rarely speak of the bastard child that was my first EVO, I'll explain the second. After I traded in my first EVO I waited 5 years before I found another one locally that wasn't beat to ****. Went through an 08 GTS and an 09 MS3 before finding her at a local Nissan dealer. I had put a lot of money into the Speed, and had just put new wheels and tires, plus finishing my tune on the speed when I saw the ad on Autotrader. Went in just expecting to bull**** about the car, but 4 hours later ended up driving it home. Had a bit of buyers remorse and got my *** chewed by my speed friends that wanted parts from the car, but oh well! Turns out the guy that details cars at the dealer bought my Speed and she lives the pampered life now.

Paid too much for the EVO but ended up getting a good egg this time, no regrets!

I started with a DSM and loved the EVO when it came out. I waited about 5 months before I finally bit the bullet and now I have 2 4G63 cars. It's an EVO 8 by the way.

I searched for a long time to find the right one, but it has been 75,000 miles of bliss since (I got it with 10k on the dial). These are brilliant cars-- wait for the right one.

Searched for a few months, I looked at more than just Evos but the second I rode in my Evo, I knew I wanted it!
