How long did it take you to find your Evo
took me about 6 months of non stop searching on craigslist for one that was a reasonable price and mostly stock. I almost gave up and bought a STI... Right when I got back from the test drive of the STI I searched craigslist one last time and found mine.. bought it 20 mins later.

I was looking for about 6 months for a 9 couldn't find a good deal so I started looking at diesel trucks, went to a used auto place to check out a truck and they had a x on the lot. needless to say I never ended up looking at the truck and drove home my x.
It took me about 5 days... I wasn't really looking for one at the time, my buddy actually gave me a ride in his 425hp evo ix and I just go curious and started searching craigslist for one just to see how much they went for. Next thing you know im in a RR Evo ix with 28K on the ODO that I picked up in Folsom Ca. CRAZY haha
I wasn't even looking at Evos and a guy from Pennsylvania offered to trade for my cummins. Let just say I drove 5 hours met halfway and we didn't even test drive them. Just exchanged paperwork and were on our way. I'm a happy evo now.
I had been looking for months, without a finger on the trigger. After a night of drinking I decided enough is enough I NEED to be in another evo. So I hit the forums, autotrader, the works. Autotrader had nothing of real interest and every person on here I hit up were high off their asses with not being negotiable at all. I can understand, it's an evo, but if you post your car for sale and a serious-buy-it-tomorrow-offer is on the table you shouldn't just throw it away.
Had looked the whole day, and remember NASIOC sometimes has evos for sale. Saw the WW and instantly fell in love. Drove 5 hours to NJ to check the car out and the bank wouldn't accept the check. The guy says well drive it home and I'll come get a new check in a few days. Drove it home and then from Maryland to New Mexico and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

About 2 months, I found it in a car lot and it needed a lot of TLC, but finally talked them down to a reasonable price and bought it.
Only difference from when I bought it and this picture was it was tuned on ethanol and few bolt ons, and basically everything gone through, rebuilt trans as well.

Now it's built motor bigger turbo 800+hp
