That's anti lag. That has nothing to do with what turbo the car is equipped with. Be warned through antilag drastically shortens the life of a turbocharger.

 

I'm not talking about the antilag, I'm talking about a fast spooling turbo like this one in the video

Wow! I'm surprised that turbo lasted through the run.

 

Stock ?! The owner said that his car is 600+ hp !

 

If your gonna believe everthing people tell you without proof, then heck why stop at 600? He should have told you 1100 hp.

 

Anti lag aids spool.

Maybe you should ask him what the turbo is.

 

@tommi , I said that because the shop he tuned he's car at also said that but I actually haven't see a dyno graph for it !

@andy, No sir, he's a popular autox driver and I haven't meet him before so I asked here to get an answer .. and about the antilag, I saw few guys here have antilag in their cars but they haven't the same performance or even match it !

 

I mean which turbos can spool like this at low-mid power band ?

The reason for antilag is to help with spool..

 

So does ONLY the antilag make it spool that fast ? This car is also stroked to 2.3L .. so maybe he's running the stock turbo ?? I'm sorry for these questions but I'm actually beginner ..

 

As far as i know the record hp for a stock 9 turbo is 550whp... Easily with a few tweaks like billet mag/alum wheels titanium what nots it could spool like hell and make more power... Then add a real race engine... With anti lag and holy ****...

Also anti lag wont wipe out a turbo in one run even popping like that...
