does anyone know if the MAP EF series turbos also use the genuine mitsu turbine housings?

 

We do not use genuine MHI housings based on both cost and availability. With that being said, there are several suppliers for aftermarket housings and they are not all created equal. It's likely this video was prompted by our recent posting about a handful of wastegate flapper issues that we experienced and have since rectified. Making a reliable, high performance turbocharger without using the OEM turbine housing is not only possible, its already being done.
