I already have s2's on my current setup. If I can squeeze 400 out ill be stoked. I'll have a great street car. But when it's build time I want the 2.3 it's gonna be on 93. E85 is hard to come around
I ran about 400hp/400tq (Ethanol) on my stock block with a 100k on it for about a summer. People do it all the time with even more power and torque, but every now and then a rod throws the towel in and usually tears some crap up or windows a block, like people have said it's all in the tuning. To me though a putting a bigger turbo on a stock block is like going halfway. The whole point of making more power is to get that seat in the pants feel which mostly comes from the torque spike of boost hitting and then the bigger turbo freight training through the power band. For a stock block most of that seat in the pants feel has to be taken out in order to preserve the the toothpicks that have pistons attached to them.
