apexi power fc edu

question about the apexi power fc ecu. is this worth buying? Is this better than stock ecu?is this plug and play?Does this need a tune right away when installed? i know they run about 1000 dollars brand new. just wondering?

They work fine and would need at least a rough tune. The only flaw I can tell is that it doesn't retard timing/ richen AFRs/drop boost/ switch maps if knock occurs.

the commander is about the only thing it has over the stock ecu.....otherwise, waste comparatively.
