Alternator Plug replacement
So I bought a engine harness from a vendor on here (used) because Spec-Ops said the one that was on it was pretty ragged. Not sure if this was missed in their initial inspection or it was broken by accident while the car was being put together but the alternator plug appears to have the orange part boken off.
SO as a result it would pop off and slowly drain the battery. I've been limping along with it and earlier this week had my battery relocated to the back so I could reuse my optima battery. I think the Optima was good enough to mask the plug being off because when I started to see symptoms it looked like the battery was drained pretty good already.
Anyways I pulled the plug off of where it was resting and it looked like it was partially melted. I kinda cracked the plug housing away from the middle in an attempt to get it back on the Alternator and it seemed fine but when I log battery voltage while the car is running and being driven it never gets above 12v's. As I understand it it should be 13-14.
Anyhow I posted a WTB thread here and been posting on DSM sites locally to see if anyone has a late model Mitsu harness that is unusable that i can hack the plug off since Mitsu doesnt sell it seperately and I don't want to spend 300+ for an OEM harness just to hack it.
One of the Spec-Ops guys has been trying to help and found a site that sells random Alternator components and I think we've found the replacement plug for the car but I'm a little gun shy to pull the trigger.
Can anyone help me confirm this plug is the right one:

I will have to look to see if it is oem. I tried everything down to sanding some plastic of the connector. Still, no luck 😠 it fits extremely snug and doesn't clip in or make contact once I start engine, still showing 12.4.
