Suspicious Evo

The other day I parked my Evo in a nearby neighborhood where I like to run this hill for some exercise. (Done this many times.) While I was out running this lady pulled over and asked if I knew about a 'very very suspicious vehicle' parked nearby..

I said "is it a black car by any chance?" and she replied yes, that she was getting ready to call the cops. I said no worries, it's mine I'm just running out here. She looked relieved like she just prevented an attack by the taliban.

Completely stock looking evo 8 with just tinted windows. I get it.. sometimes comes with the territory. I've been hated on before but damn this was a bit much.

I'm sure you guys have been through similar. Still my most prized possession.

Tinted windows and the big wing. Looks like trouble from the big city to the uninitiated.

Black on Black on Black? Black guy by any chance? Rich neighborhood? You should have known better!

This is a joke...

I recently had two 18-20year old kids in a silver audi approach a 240sx, my neighbors, and was checking it out, checking underneath the car etc. Unfortunately, I had the evo out so I did get a little sick feeling that I had to be weary if they passed by again.

My evo is in the garage and if they steal it. They are going to inherit problems so HA!

Definitely told my neighbors to watch it.

You probably just met someone that has been jacked before. Wether their house got broken into, or vehicles. My house got robbed when I was 15 and I still look at any stranger walking around like they are a Damn terrorist/thief. I'm speaking from my own paranoid experience but hey what do I know ?

There is no way my phone is "smart".

And this is why I have been pulled over countless times for "tail light out" or "exhaust too loud"

I'm in Jersey too, when I had my old Honda It was almost stolen 4 times. Twice out of my driveway, it was the worst I couldn't sleep some nights. The evo has the luxury of a garage spot though.
