Question Looking to install gauges, few ?

Looking to add fuel and oil pressure gauges (to compliment my afr and boost guages). Oil pressure seems pretty straight forward using the plug down by the filter, but was wondering about adding the fuel pressure gauge and was thinking of picking up the AEM fuel rail from STM rather than tapping into my stock rail. Any downside to this with stock injectors (255 in tank pump)? Would I need a retune if I installed it?

Also what pressure gauge should I get for oil. The ones I'm looking at offer 100 or 150 psi

Thanks

No you wont be needing a reflash with the rail install.. Oil gauge brand is really your preference, I think its safe to say most of us have Defi, Prosport or AEM gauges, and I don't think I've ever seen my oil press go past 100 so you're safe getting the 100psi one

Cool, didn't think so on the reflash but wanted to be sure. Thanks! The wideband is aem so I was going to get matching aem oil and fuel and put them where the radio is. Anybody looking to get rid of a gruppe-s 52mm pod? One other question, any reason to get oil temp over oil pressure?

It really depends on what weight oil you use. I have a 150psi gauge. but it's really up to you.

^This is true. I put 10w-40 in mine.

Our cars already come with an OEM oil temp gauge, no reason to buy another one. I mean if youre tracking your car, sure its useful but for DD not really needed. Oil pressure is the one you'd want to get if you had to pick one of the two.

could get a fuel lab or aeromotive regulator an use the port in the regulator for the fuel pressure gauge.

I thought about this but deemed I dont have room for the gauge without having my interior look like a christmas tree.
