I have fic1250s as well and it does this same exact thing to the last detail. I'm thinking about making the swap to some IDs in the near future.

Yeah. I am also have weird on and off throttle issues . Like cruising around town , doesn't matter low speed or high speed. But I take foot off throttle , decal. then the sec I touch the petal it jerks like I went from no throttle to like 20 % , Its like a on off switch effect. its not smooth at all. Also didn't do this when I had the stock evo 8 injectors in place.

Glad I am not the only one having this problem. I am just going to order a set of PTE1200. I have always used PTE injectors in all my builds and never once had a issue. Plus the FIC were a ***** to scale. It has taken me a solid week of idle , cruising , WOT and Maf smoothing to get everything dialed in. My LTFT low are at 4.3% and LTFT MID are 1.2%. WOT throttle follows fuel MAP great , but its the misfiring till its warmed up and the poor drivability

Update:

Injectors were sent to FIC to be checked out and "saw that one of the injectors had a off dead time."

Even though OP purchased them new it happens to the best of them. FIC took care of him and we will report if it fixed the problem.

Hey guys, just seeing this thread now. I'm sure most of you know that we take a lot of pride in not only our injectors but also our excellent customer service so the best thing to do whenever you think there may be an issue is to contact us so we can try to help you with your out.

When upgrading injectors, there are other changes being made at the same time (a retune at the very least) which can make it is difficult to determine the cause of an issue. Usually it comes down to finding some calibration settings that have yet to be optimized or some other non-injector issue. We carefully test all injectors before they are shipped to you to ensure their function and performance, but in the rare event that the issue does lead back to the injectors then we will absolutely work with you on that so give us a ring.

We can be reached M-F from 8:30-5:30 eastern time at (561) 427-0082.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Too busy driving my car enjoying the newfound drivability.

FIC promptly shipped my set of injectors back, with a new injector to replace the one I had in place on #3 cylinder.

Car runs extremely well, with great cold start-ups on both E85 and 91.

Thanks!
