HKS 7460R 92pump dyno

Well a big thanks to Aaron at English for doing a great tune on my car. Aaron has been a good friend for many years, so there was no question on who I was going to have tune my evo.

Mods are
Stock block
S1 cams
Skunk2 intake manifold(Curt Browns old one)
Skunk2 TB
Skunk2 fuel rail
Spoolingup COP
Toxic fab exhaust manifold
Map external wastegate 0\2/down pipe
HKS 7460R
JMF 4in intake/perrin filter kit
fic bluemax 1250 injectors
Buschur test pipe and cat back.
Comp flywheel and stage 2 clutch
grimmspeed 4bar
Hallmen boost controler.
SD tune
ETS 3.0 intercooler kit
Boost was at 26-27psi

Really happy with how the car feels. Next spring, Aaron will be doing a e85 tune and I will be switching the car over from manual boost control to a grimmspeed BCS.
This dyno sheet shows my last tune that Aaron did. car had the s1 cams intake and turbo back exhaust ets front mount kit with the fic 1250s.

It looks great, just feeling for you when your turbo goes and you wont be able to fix it.

I picked the turbo up for cheap. So if its goes its goes. I will just upgrade to a BBK or a green.

Amazing how much better this car runs on SD. Its not like I havent tuned a MAF car before, but the 1250s, Cams, Intake, etc. were all making it fairly difficult. Switched to SD and the drivability was basically done in 3 minutes.

Interesting so contrary to what I've heard (without proof) many times, the stock turbo out spools the 7460. Nice numbers with the HKS, hope it holds together for you.

It's running the MAP ext gate dump setup which removes the twinscroll effect.
That would be a factor.

Stock turbo does still outspool the 7460...maybe not by much but it does. It might be hard to see in that dyno sheet but the red line is the one that starts sooner than the other.

Also The twin scroll was preserved because it runs both the internal and external but uses the external for full boost control. The internal opens at WG line, basically 12-13psi, then backs up against the external until it cracks at the preset boost setting.
