Brake caliper install issues

So I had my calipers powdercoated and I went to put them back on the evo and I ran into a few issues.

- the drivers side rear caliper threads are shot. I don't know how this happened because they were perfectly fine when I took them off the car. I went to tighten the mounting bolt for the caliper and it feels like its getting tight and then it loosens up. Can the stock brembos be retapped? Or will I have to helicoil it?

- the passenger side rear bleeder valve screw is stuck open. No matter how much it is tightened, brake fluid just squirts out when I hit the brakes as if the valve is open. In gonna call mitsubishi tomorrow and Try to get some new ones but has anyone ever come across this issue? Is it possible that it could be an even bigger issue?

Any idea what size tap I'll need to clean them up? It looks like my powdercoater cleaned up all the threads for me already but I'll give it a shot anyway.

So I got new bleeder screws and I noticed the reason it keeps shooting out fluid is because the threads on the caliper are junk too so the bleeder screw isn't threading in all the way. What options do I have here to fix that?

I just ordered a tap to retap the bleeder screw valve and the mounting bolt threads. If nothing works would a local machine shop be able to drill and rethread everything?

For the next person having this done, scribe your name on the back before sending.

Yea I definitely didn't expect any of these issues especially when they came out with no issues. I doubt the powdercoater caused the issues. It's most likely a coincidence but Atleast it's nothing that can't be fixed.

I've had both problems and yes they can be fixed. Helicoil for the stripped mounting threads, done 2 one on each of my evos.

And this is the fix for the F'd up bleeder,Take it to a machinist or a good mechanic you trust it's tricky to get it right.

Could I just helicoil the stripped bleeder screw valve as well? I'm assuming that's the dorman stripped bleeder screw valve fix?

thing about helicoil on the bleeder is you'll never get it centered just right to seal. yep doorman.

I just tried to retap everything now and no luck. The threads are just too far gone. I got them straightened out but they're too thin for the threads on the bleeder screw to grab. I ordered that dorman repair kit so I'm gonna call a few machine shops tomorrow.
