Evo fuel pump swap question.

I just swapped my walboro 255 for a walboro e85 450 and a fuel pressure regulator. My starter is not connected. Can I turn the key to prime the pump and build pressure in the system to see on my gauge on the fpr?

Your pump should prime in the "ON" position. You should be able to hear it. Walbro pumps are known for being loud.

Ohh, I can hear it. But after holding the key on the on position for 8-10 sec I see no pressure on my fpr gauge. I'm wondering if its possible my 450 is too long and is hitting the bottom of the tank not allowing flow?

Connect the starter and try start the car or disconnect the fuel line in the engine bay and prime and see if fuel comes out and if not then go to the tank and check the pump and housing again.

Don't have a starter yet, it's taking forever to get rebuilt. I guess I can take the line off and if its getting no fuel it's something with the pump.
