Greddy Type S BOV or Evo 9 BOV?

I recently purchased a Greddy Type-S Bov. Does anyone know what PSI it holds upto or should I purchase a Tial Q or Evo 9 Bov? Also whats the difference between Evo 9 BOV and Diverter? I am trying to find one of these now so I can get tuned asap. Thanks!

I'm not sure what psi it holds up to but just make sure its a legit one because if made cheaply it will leak and may cause mechanical damage.

I had a tial before its very quiet. If your going to use a Evo 9 bov make sure to use a MR its metallic and not plastic like the base model gsr that's what you want the MR model if you do that.

In the states all VIII DV's were plastic in all trims including the MR. JDM MR DV was metal

All IX DV's are metal.

I had a greddy type s and it does leak at around 20psi. if you still insist on using the type s bov you will need to buy the diaphram made for the type s bov from NRG.

Even real Greddy valves leak, I'm not sure why anyone buys from them anymore. Tial qr or Evo 9.

been running a greddy type-s for 7 years at 25+ psi with no leaks. just make sure you don't mount it near extreme heat or the rubber diaphragm will dry out and crack. i think its and excellent BOV, not sure why they switched to the type-RS

Everyone hates on the type s. They are older so the diaphrams are usually not in great shape, I got a new one from greddy and it held 30 psi no problem.

Back when I had my srt4 I had the type s and it leaked at 18psi, I later switched to the rs which it hold 18psi no problem. 2 yrs later I sold the srt4 with the type s and kept the rs for the evo but it wasnt working good on the evo(recirculated) so I bought a Tial qr and up until today it holds 28psi no problem.

I know the QR is the way togo but I already have the Type-S. If replacing the diaphragm is cheap then may be worth it since I am only pushing stock boost.
