It's bad enough people buy a car for its "scene"...
Back on topic...I don't think going the dual exhaust route is going to give you the sound you want...a 4g63t is going to sound like what it is.

+1....if you want a car that sounds like a BMW, get a BMW. An inline 4 cylinder will never sound like an inline 6 cylinder(which is probably the engine in the BMW you like), regardless of the exhaust piping route, size, or number of mufflers.

Put your stock exhaust back on.

Sounds like you need a motor swap. I agree with everyone that you will not get what you're looking for. No combination of resonator/ muffler is going to change the note that much. It's very hard to get an inline 4 to sound decent in the first place, but I think your asking for something that's not totally possible. Although if you do find the right combo let us know. I have a friend looking for the same since he's a business man and occasionally gives rides to clients.

should have just bought a BMW. you're on the wrong forum.

on a side note, how is a heavy exhaust note ricey ? oh right, you're trying to have a high scretching exhaust note because you're trying to be "exotic" --- that's not ricey at all. ok i get it. you're good =/
