Ordered wrong gauge @#@$#

I am new to the evo, but like any turbo car I felt that the fisrt two things I needed are a turbo timer and a boost gauge.
So I got these things on the way. I Elected not to go with the DCII with the built in gauge because it was in bar I wanted psi. So what did I do... I ordered a Greddy electronic boost gauge...I wasn't paying attention; it's in bar too #@$@.

For you vet's out there is this thing of any use to me?
On a PSI gauge you can get a good measurement in bar you ar looking for changes in tenths which on a 3 bar gauge is pretty minimal. Should I keep this thing or get rid of it?

Keep it , just learn how to read bar. 1bar = 14.22psi on the greddy gauge. I have the same gauge and had to learn some metric conversions

Are you happy with it?
Is it fairly easy to see a change at a glance?

Thanks

If you are interested in getting rid of it, I might have some use for it. Let me know.

Is it a greddy electronic? If so anyone have a sure fire way of wiring this bad boy, it's given me nothing but problems as far as wiring in my evo, sorry didn't mean to hijack. It is a very nice and accurate gauge I must say.

Yeah it's the electronic. I haven't received it yet, but It'll probably be in today. I heard some horror stories about the install, but nothing but good once it's done. I wanted the OMORI gauge, but lack of patience got to me
If I figure anything out i'll throw it up here. I think I'm stuck with it. I really wanted PSI, but guess I can't have everything.

I had mine installed by someone but it looked like a ***** to install . But i just read the bar, its not that hard. For me I just run 1.35-1.45 BAR which ~20-22 PSI.

Nope 60mm Black. I guess I'll just struggle through the install and see how it works out.

I'll probably fab some kind of mount this weekend If I have time.

Keep it!!!!!!! Greddy gauges are top notch. By the way, greddy uses kg/cm2 not bar. Slightly different.

I finally got the gauge, I was expecting black and got white .The folks I got it from will take it back, but I'd rather just sell it and order another one so I do't have to wait as long. I'm In it for about 180 + shipping. It is a 60mm White face greddy electronic turbo warning meter. PM with offers If no responses I'll send it back. Oh yeah, box never opened.

What do you guys think about mechanichal gauges?

Man that sucks, funny thing is that I went from a Greddy electronic black faced boost gauge to an Autometer mechanical Pro-Comp Ultralite and am happier, just simpler set up made me feel more comfortable, but have to say if I ever did go with the Greddy again I would go with a white face, I like the contrast that aluminum color gives to the rest of the black interior, and I think it goes well with the exposed metal of the Momo steering wheel. Just my $.02
