Evo IX RS...Should I trade for it?!
What's up guys I need some opinions. At the moment I currently own a stock turbo, mildly modified 2006 Evo IX SE and a stanced out 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R Spec. The Genesis is my daily driver and the Evo is my weekend toy, yes I play the function and form game
I picked up the Evo IX a while ago cause I wanted to get back into racing NASA TA and TT events, so my main goal for the car was to make it a track car. But after owning it for as long as I have I have fallen in love with how clean it is, here are some current hi-res photos of it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/95036460@N04/
I feel like I have of the cleanest Evo's around where I live and I would feel like crap gutting/modifying something so clean. Anyways I don't wanna cut my racing short all because I'm obsessed with how clean the car is. So I had the idea of selling my Genesis Coupe in order to pick up a local WW Evo IX RS. The Evo RS is also mildly modified with suspension and brake upgrades as well as an Autopower Race Roll Bar. The Engine is bone stock, all it has is a drop in filter. My current Evo IX SE would ultimately become my DD and this way I could preserve it's "cleanliness" so to speak. The only downside is I really do like my GC and I love how she looks, slammed on coilovers and sitting flush on JDM AME TM02's, so it'd be a shame to see her go.
So that pretty much sums it up. Decisions, decisions...let me know what you all think.
Option 1: Keep Genesis Coupe as my DD and turn my Evo IX SE into a track car
Option 2: Sell Genesis, buy Evo IX RS, make my Evo IX SE my DD, turn RS into a track car.

I had that same thought too, thats why I decided to maybe pick up another Evo to track. It just sucks cause the RS's are geting pretty rare too.

Nope, its the 2.0T version. I bought it to solely be a DD. The only modifications done to it are coilovers, AME TM02 wheels, a front lip, side skirts, and a drop in filter. So it looks good but doesn't go very fast
this car is all about breaking necks, not speed limits

isn't the 2.0T the 4b11 motor? I still agree with track that lol. The EVO IX RS is the Rarest of all of them, only like 350 in the US. Almost a shame to gut and track the SE or RS.
Why not keep both and buy a higher mileage 8 for 10-12k? You're going to gut it and prep it for track, so half the wear and tear of the mileage would be replaced anyway.
