^^ mechanic? where? they will gap it as stock gapped and no different. you might want to pull them and check. on your evo 8 running higher than stock boost you should gap them down to .24. my peaks at 26psi and hold 22-23 to redline and plugs are gapped at .22.

When they put them on I didn't see them play with the gap they just put them on how they came from the box?

Try and re-gap them to .22 or 23 it might help a lot of plugs don't even come ore gapped right. I'm about 75% sure this will fix you issue I've had 3 ppl that had the same problem and when I re-gapped there plugs it worked fine. Hope this helps good luck

Boost leak is posiable as well but let's start with the easy stuff Lol but check any vacuum lines that are visible and make sure they haven't poped off especially the EGR one behind the IM that sneaky s**** likes to come

My car boost at 28pis and i have ran into this problem before. One thing i looked at was gas. Also my car would do it on a bad tune. How long has it been doing it for?

It barely started doing it 3 days ago after I raced it at the track but I re gapped my spark plugs and now it doesn't bog out but I'm only pushing 10 psi instead of the 19 I was pushing what could be causing that?
