quick question about stock recaros

Hey guys, I drive a 2006 Evo Ix SSL, I tore the stock recaros out last night there is a plug of some sort that runs from the seatbelt buckle to the underside of the seat rail on the driver side seat only. Does anyone know what this plugs into? It was unpluged when I pulled the seat I can't seem to get the wire out though, I thought about cutting it directly below the belt buckle if its unimportant. There is an amp under the drivers seat of the ssl model but I don't think it was connected to that, my best guess is seatbelt warning chime? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

pretty sure cutting it would constantly give you the chime....you probly gotta do a jumper wire to get it to go hush

Im swapping seats and I need the buckle off of the reacaros but I cant slide the wire out anyway unless I rip the whole rail apart.
