Off TO TPG Tuning Tomorrow.

Just curious if anyone else here uses TPG Tuning in Blairsville, PA? My car dies when coming to a quick stop or coasting up to intersections it occasionally dies. Also, its hitting somewhere over 30 pounds on pump gas which doesn't seem safe. I just bought it 2 weeks ago after it sat in a garage for a year and a half. Last tune was done by Buschur over two years ago.

A couple local people to me use tpg and I recommend them also. Very knowledgeable and have treated everyone of them great.

if Buschur tuned it I wouldn't be too worried about it. you sure its not tuned for E85 ?

well i know the car was tuned for 93 pump gas as well as race gas. From what i understand the dual stage boost controller allowed this? When it is just using the first stage it was for pump gas but if i were to run race gas there is a switch under the dash to activate the 2nd stage. does this sound correct?

btw regardless of if the switch is turned on or off it keeps hitting over 30 pounds. Boost gauge only goes up to 30 so i don't know exactly where it is spiking.

That sounds correct using a switch to toggle between 2 maps, but 30 psi on pump that I don't know seems a little high for 93oct maybe E85, but you have Manley internals. on race gas I would think you would be pushing more than 30psi safely.

Are you the RR evo in Dubois that I have been seeing lately? I'm the AS one from brockway.

As for TPG, you can't go wrong. Call them up, they have no problem answering their phone. TSCOMPTUNED is also another great option and who I went with myself.

I will post some numbers this weekend. Last tune it had done at Buschur a few years ago it was at 462awhp / 396tq and that was on 93octane. Curious to see what TPG will do and what the baseline is ever since the Buscher tune and the car sitting for almost 2 years.
