Hello guys and girls!

Since I have my evo, I always ahd a problem, now used to it, I ignore it... But today is time to end this pain.

My all doors lock doesn't work. It doesn't lock nor unlock. BUT the most strange thing is I can unlock all doors in same time if:

- The car is started (or on ON mode)
- I am closing 2 or more closed windows at the same time
- I am opening 2 or more opened windows at the same time


It may be hard to udnerstand, english ain't my first language.. And even in french, this problem is hard to explain.

Sounds like you have a short Alex

 

What do you mean by short?

For me short = small lol xD

He is referring to an electrical short. Meaning you may have a loose wire or a split wire somewhere causing it to arch or not ground properly and therefore causing this electrical problem you are experiencing.

You might want to have an auto electric shop take a look at it for you if you are not comfortable diagnosing electrical gremlins.
