Keyless Entry ETACS Problem
Keyless Entry ETACS Problem
I recently replaced a worn lock actuator motor on the drivers door to my 05 VIII USDM GSR. This required removing the lock and opening the actuator to swap in a new motor. The lock actuator now works like it should.
Before this job, pressing the keyless "Unlock" button once unlocked the drivers door , and pressing it a second time unlocked the remaining doors. After replacing the drivers door actuator motor, pressing once opens the drivers door, but pressing it a second time does not open the other doors.
It's hard to see how replacing a mechanical component (the actuator motor) has changed the ETACS programming, and I can't seem to formulate a strategy for trouble shooting this problem. If any one of you has experienced this issue and knows how to resolve it I would appreciate your input.
