I'm hoping if I were to sell this car I could get at least 18,500 for it what's everyone think?

For a built car that quite frankly is a risk for anyone buying it because while you may be an honest seller and are being completely transparent there are probably more knuckle heads that have lied to people about a potential problem and took the ,oney and ran.

So you have to find someone willing to take a potential headache off your hands.

Clean retail with that mileage on a STOCK evo is about 16kish. Mods don't really matter to the general public unless its an enthusiast so the mods and rebuilt motor almost hurt you in this instance.

What you described is an average body at best...that drops it down to 12-14kish.

I hate to say it (and please don't be offended) but if you 15k and you truly want to get out of the car you need to take that money and run. I don't think you'll get much over that.

Even if I have every receipt for everything in the car? I'm not looking to sell I'm just curious if something did come up and I had to bail on the car

Smurf is 100% correct.

However, that's not to say you couldn't get more than that. Unfortunately heavy modding tends to hurt the value, unless someone is specifically looking for a car with work done to it already. At the end of the day, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

yea that's a good way too put it. me personally I have owned 2 evos and paid more $ for a car with mods vs stock if they were done correctly

so would a part out be best for something like this? not looking to sell I was just curious as I have not done this much work to my previous 2 evos. I just would like too see how the community feels about these types of cars and if they would pay good money for a car with a fresh motor and trans.

Nice driving and time. If you could nail a 1.6 60' time a high 10 could be possible.

For the right buyer, you would have no problem getting $18k. But finding someone that wants a built evo is the trick..
